Mr. Gates new vessel is scheduled to go to sea in the year 2024. This world’s first hydrogen-powered superyacht will not measure up to some of the world’s largest pleasure yacht and cruisers such as the 163-metre Eclipse commissioned by Roman Abramovich, owner of Chelsea football club and an oligarch.
This vessel is a custom built is based on blueprints for the 112-metre design named "Aqua" shown to the public last year at the MonacoYachtShow by a Dutch marine architects called Sinot to attract the interest of environmentally sensitive billionaires.
With so much Bills to his name, Mr. Gates a co-founder of Microsoft who is currently ranked as the world’s second-richest man, is a regular superyacht holidaymaker but has not previously owned his own vessel because he preferred to rent one during his summer trips around the Mediterranean and anywhere he desires.
